Mr. Recchi is Vice Chairman of Interbanca S.p.A.  He is also a board member and member of the audit and compensation committees of EXOR S.p.A, on the board of directors of IFIL Investments S.p.A, and a board member of NBC Universal Global Networks Italia Srl. Mr. Recchi is also  a committee member of Confindustria and Assolombarda corporate associations.

Mr. Recchi served as a Professor of Corporate Finance at the Turin University from 2004 to 2006.  Before his professorship, he served as President and CEO of General Electric in Southern Europe.  Joining GE in 1999, he held several positions with GE Capital, in Stamford, CT and in London.  In 2001 he was appointed CEO of GE Capital SFG Italia Srl.

Prior to joining GE Mr. Recchi worked at Recchi General Contractor, a contracting company operating in 25 countries and specializing in infrastructure projects. From 1995 to 1999 he served as President and CEO of Recchi America Inc. a leader in the U.S. in building high-tech bridges.  During the same period he was also CEO of the overseas division of Ferrocemento-Recchi SpA, the parent company with more than 80 branches and joint ventures operating in North and South America, Asia, Africa, Europe and Middle East.

Mr. Recchi started his career in 1990 as a construction site engineer for Tileman Yards in the UK, leading builder of chimneys and cooling towers for power plants. In 1994 he became its Chairman and CEO.

Mr. Recchi graduated in Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute in Turin.
