Since joining Blackstone in 2002, Mr. Lax has been involved in analyzing Blackstone’s real estate investments in all property types, in both the United States and Europe and has worked on transactions including Equity Office Properties, Hilton Hotels Corporation, the Charter Oak portfolio of factory outlet centers and the Concordia Properties mall portfolio.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Lax worked in TD Securities’ real estate group in Toronto where he was involved in the valuation of all asset classes.

Mr. Lax received a BC from the University of British Columbia, where he graduated with honors.
