Blackstone Hosts Inaugural Tech Forum in Silicon Valley
Participants include CEOs of leading technology companies, CIOs from Blackstone portfolio companies and selected venture capital firms
Menlo Park, CA, September 15: Today Blackstone is hosting its inaugural Technology Forum in Silicon Valley for Blackstone portfolio companies and clients. The event is part of Blackstone’s continued efforts to support innovation in Silicon Valley, provide unique opportunities for our clients and drive performance at portfolio companies through technology investments.
In addition to Blackstone Operating Partners and Technology Advisory Group, the event features CEOs from more than twenty-five leading technology companies who are delivering keynote speeches and leading panel discussions on topics including Cloud Computing, Enterprise Mobility, Next Generation Enterprise Applications, and Desktop Virtualization. CIOs from Blackstone portfolio companies will discuss best practices, technology trends, and strategies for successful technology investment.
Scott Weiss, General Partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, will deliver a keynote address titled “Enterprise Software Massacre” and Dave Johnson, Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Dell, will deliver a keynote address on Dell’s strategic transformation.
