Blackstone’s Chief Financial Officer, Laurence Tosi (L.T.), was honored by the Georgetown University Wall Street Alliance for his mentorship and scholarship support of incoming and current Georgetown students. The former Georgetown university student was the youngest recipient to be honored by the Wall Street Alliance at the organization’s annual dinner, which raised a record $1.6 million this year. In recognition of his achievement, Georgetown University put together a video about L.T.’s career path and philanthropic work. Georgetown University made a commitment to meet the full financial needs for all admitted undergraduates. To support this commitment, the Georgetown University Wall Street Alliance created the Wall Street Alliance Scholarship Fund. Through the scholarship fund, which has raised more than $7 million to date, the organization has helped dozens of promising young men and women from the New York area achieve their goal of a college education by providing assistance for their tuition at Georgetown.
